If anybody has to ask me what I love to do more than anything else, the answer is easy. Writing. There are a few other hobbies I tinker with from time to time, but I like to call those "new kids on the block." They're interests that have developed over recent years. But writing is something that has been a part of me since early childhood and inspires me like nothing else. I love creating characters who are interesting and unique, who jump off the page, who are so real to me that I dream about them at night. And it's usually as I'm falling asleep at night, in that stage between wakefulness and sleep, that I get my best bits of inspiration for twists and turns in my WIPs. Okay, I know what you're thinking. People have told me that's a little weird, but I'm sure I'm not the only one to get bursts of inspiration during those twilight moments.
Anyway, let me not get ahead of myself. This is a blog after all, so let me get to the point of why I'm here and what this is about. I'm super excited that my very first published novel will be coming out in the next month or two, and you'll be sure to hear more about it closer to the time. In the meantime, I can't wait to share my writing thoughts with you, cool stuff I've learned along the way, as well as author interviews, and hopefully some cool giveaways.
Once I've navigated my way around my new blog site and have a steady following (LOL!), I plan to post stuff at least once a week. I already have tons of ideas.
